Nintendo Wii outsells PS3 3-to-1 in Japan in July

TOKYO (Reuters) - Nintendo Co Ltd's (7974.OS) Wii video game console outsold Sony Corp's (6758.T) PlayStation 3 by more than 3-to-1 in Japan in July, a game magazine publisher said.

LOS ANGELES (Reuters) - Video game publisher Activision Blizzard Inc said quarterly profit at its Activision unit more than doubled on sales of "Kung Fu Panda" and "Guitar Hero: On Tour," and it raised its 2009 forecast for the newly merged company.

RALEIGH, North Carolina (Reuters) - Although the future team colors of quarterback Brett Favre are unknown, when the 20th Anniversary "Madden NFL 09" game is released in August he will be wearing the Green Bay Packers' colors on the cover.
